Damaris Cruz
Attorney Cruz is a Connecticut licensed attorney and Roger Williams University School of Law Juris Doctor graduate with a strong focus on immigration law and advocacy. Her commitment to immigrant communities began well before her legal career through her work with the Brazilian Workers Center and as an immigration paralegal. She has extensive experience assisting detained women and children at the Texas border with asylum and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status cases, as well as providing pro bono representation through the Roger Williams University Immigration Clinic on complex matters. While in law school, she also served as Vice President of the Latino Law Student Association. A first generation college graduate and attorney from Bridgeport, Connecticut, Attorney Cruz is bilingual in Spanish and English and brings a background in psychology that allows her to connect deeply with clients and advocate with empathy, clarity, and purpose.
